The other day I made the Baked Pumpkin French Toast from Made – yum! I didn’t take in-process pictures because hers are amazing, so why would you need mine?
I changed a few things because my husband is anti mushy food (oatmeal, soggy bread, etc) – so I only soaked it about 4-5 hours (we had it for dinner, so I made it at lunch) and I didn’t pour all of the egg mixture on top. It was still a little soft, but oh well. Also, instead of the spices the recipe calls for I just added pumpkin pie spice.
It tasted de-li-cious!! My favorite part was the bottom layer of caramel.I forgot to take before pictures, but here’s after we broke into it (oh, and note my name etched in to the bottom of my pyrex – I don’t think I posted that craft yet…..)
