So I’m MIA right now – – off at a super-fun Craft Blog Conference (yes, those exist!) called SNAP. I know not everyone can attend, so I’ll come back with several posts next week recapping what I learned etc – I’ll take good notes for you! And don’t worry – – posts are still rolling, so Sugar Bee Crafts won’t miss a beat.
But before I left, I prepped some things…
I wanted to give a little something-something along with business card – – but what to give….
Browsing the website over at MOO.com, I saw that they offered stickers and knew THAT was perfect! And so I designed these awesome stickers:
At first I made them in the fun “it” colors for spring this year. THEN I realized that for the sake of branding, I should stick with the colors that are on my blog – – as a subliminal message to always remember Sugar Bee Crafts. So I used the yellow, gray, and light and dark turquoise. I really really like them!
If you are at SNAP (wahoo!) come find me and get your sticker!
While I was ordering stickers, I got some with my blog logo and have been branding everthing….
And true story, I even made PJ Pants in my blog colors – – taking branding seriously 🙂 These are awesome modern wide-leg pjs and I have a quick tutorial for them coming – –
And a bag…
For you Bloggers – –
Also, I know conferences cost a lot – there’s the ticket ($300), the flight ($400+), the hotel for several days ($100-300, depends if you split a room) and a rental car ($$), etc. If you’re wanting to invest a little in your blog but not as much as you would spend on attending a conference, purchasing an online curriculum may be a good option for you. It’s $200, but when you compare it to attending a conference, that’s a steal. I wrote a little about it HERE after I bought it. I haven’t dedicated too much time to it yet, so I can’t give you a full review, but I’ve already implemented several things and it got me super excited about Google Authorship. I’m currently on Day 4 of the program (it’s 30 days because it’s supposed to be a month-long – but I’m taking forever). Here’s my affiliate link for that – a clickable button:
