One of my favorite projects I’ve done on this blog was one I featured several years ago using Fall Leaves. Since I’m thinking not all of you read my blog back then, I wanted to revisit it’s awesomeness…
It was for when I was in the midst of competition at So You Think You’re crafty, and I had mixed up which theme was due on which week and so I had to think of a project and make it all in one day. I told Trevor of my dilemma and his advice was “whatever you do, just don’t make a wreath” – and I did anyway, and won that round. Cause it was awesome.
Basically you take a leaf (the ones from the tree are best because they’re not dried out) and fold it and roll into into a rosette. And repeat that a million times. Using fall leaf colors, it’s a very vibrant way to bring the outdoors in.
You can read all about how to make this, in detail, on the original post: Leaf Rosette Wreath
