Have you been in a Dollar General lately? My true confession – I’m hooked! I hadn’t given ole DG much thought until we moved to a small town, and it’s one of the main stores. And so I ventured in – and guess what – they have some really fun things! I was even able to create some home decor with items I found at Dollar General: Have you considered Dollar General for home decor? Here’s a glimpse of a few things I spotted in-store: cute curtains, towels, sheets, baskets, lamps, and rugs that I will probably go back for: For today’s project, I wanted to freshen up a room with some new home decor touches. I grabbed a lamp base, shade, and a frame. I had some craft paint on hand at home, and mixed a color (after the third try) that matched the lampshade perfectly. I used a dry-brush method to let the original frame show through a little. I really love how the frame came out! For a super great price, I have a fun custom frame that’s perfect. I filled it with a fun printable and it’s good to go. Paired with the lamp it’s a perfect way to refresh a room! See, you know you need this at your house!! Save on home essentials with Dollar General!
