I’ve been obsessing with Barn Quilts lately – making one for our house is on my short list! Meanwhile, I’ve been coming up with some fun Bar Quilt Crafts (like yesterday’s barn quilt coloring page) and I am pretty smitten with these fun DIY Tile Coasters, Barn Quilt Inspired.
This craft is so easy that kiddos can do it – in fact, I did use it as a kids craft. I made a couple as samples, and then my girls made the others in a how-to video. So fun!
DIY Tile Coasters, Barn Quilt Inspired
–basic tile (I think they were like 11 cents each, super cheap!)
–mod podge and sponge brush
–fun paper and scissors and barn quilt grid printable
–felt pads for the backs of the tile
You’re lucky day – cause it’s Thursday which means a VIDEO TUTORIAL!! this time my kiddos are guest starring 😉
A basic rundown of the DIY:
–cut paper into squares and triangles
–paint a generous amount of mod podge onto the tile
–place paper design on tile
–mod podge directly over paper to seal it
–hot glue felt pads of the bottoms of the coasters
